Be Free Workshop: Beyond The Branding

Be Free Boss Babes!

We are beyond thrilled to announce our next workshop will be August 20th back at Foster with three incredible lady bosses & a whole lot of know-how on building your brand with more than just social media. This will be our last Be Free Workshop of 2016 and we're going to make it jam packed with goodness for you!

Whether you have a business, an idea, or just need great community... this is the place for you.

We support, challenge and encourage one another to become the lady bosses we were destined to be!

This workshop we'll hear from Lindsay Trinkle of Brookline Creative, Scarlett Rosier and Karen McKenzie of Rhyme & Reason Design

All three of these ladies have built their businesses and used the book Traction to help get them where they are now and each are mega bosses when it comes to dynamic branding.

We'll be going beyond the branding with Lindsay Trinkle, Scarlett Rosier & Karen McKenzie, learning how to build your company and idea strong from the start and some social media strategy along the way!

Carl seeks to make heirloom leather goods of the highest quality. He aims to create beautiful, useful, tangible pieces of art using minimalistic design and durable materials for the great community of Atlanta.

His new studio is now set-up in Citizen Supply where you can see Carl working his craft everyday. Flordaliza's next adventure will be partnering with SafeHouse Outreach in their career program. In just a few weeks, they'll be taking in a handful of men and women in less than fortunate situations and teaching them the art of leather making. Their hope is to teach these men and women that failures can and will lead to success, and to see your success manifest, you have to be patient with the process.

A WORKSHOP AND Q&A LECTURE SERIES FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS

Hi Lady Bosses! We’re so proud to announce our next Be Free Workshop will be Saturday 4/30 from 11:30am - 1:30pm back at our home at Foster Atlanta. Tickets will be $15 a piece and you can register for them here so get ‘em while you can!

Our workshop this go-round will be all that and more if you came to our initial kickoff - loads of chatting, networking, mimosa sipping, and all around feel good vibes for the first hour. Then we are super excited to announce our guests for April are the amazing ladies and our dear friends behind Deep South Social, founders Jessica Berinato (of Breathless Paper Co.) and Ashley Schoenith (of heirloomed + IceMilk Aprons).

Deep South Social is a creative consultancy that represents a curated collection of small to medium sized Southern lifestyle brands. Born from a love of Southern designed goods, business collaboration and great ideas, Jessica & Ashley want to help bring like-minded entrepreneurs together and share how wonderful they are with the world. This community of Southern brands makes for a collaborative group of amazing companies that continue to appeal to the same audiences and that support each other as a team.

Sounds like right up our alley huh?

We’ll be doing a Q&A session with these bad bosses on all things we at Be Free love to dish about: business collaboration, marketing, pricing, and of course a peak behind the curtain - the transparency of what it takes to run (and scale) a business, plus so much more.

Seating is limited at this event so grab a friend, get your tickets, and we’ll see you April 30th. And if you’re interested in sponsoring our event, hit us up here!

All the feels from your Be Free Besties,

Angie + Mindy

Be Free: A Workshop & Q+A Lecture Series For Lady Entrepreneurs

A WORKSHOP AND Q&A LECTURE SERIES FOR WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS

One day she finally grasped that unexpected things were always going to happen in life. And with that she realized the only control she had was how she chose to handle them. So, she made the decision to survive using courage, humor, and grace. She was the Queen of her own life and the choice was hers.” – Kathy Kinney

Come have some mimosas, meet other lady bosses (and aspiring lady bosses), foster that creative courage, silence that comparison trap in the back of your mind, and learn from women who followed their dreams and have launched businesses. Please join us at the kick off brunch for The Be Free Workshop series, a workshop and Q&A lecture series for women entrepreneurs. Come hear from women in Atlanta who have launched their own businesses, coached other bosses, sold some products, and designed some amazing stuff...all while balancing motherhood, marriage, single life, social life, self care, and fostering their creative courage. The Be Free Workshop will help provide you guidance and tools to help you run your business like the boss we all know you can be.

The Be Free Workshop was founded by Angela Elliott-Wingard, a solo-preneur who's been balancing a corporate gig and a freelance design and photography business for over 8 years. Angela has been wanting to create an Atlanta community of femme fatale business bad-assery for a few years now. And once the fear of regret surpassed the fear of failure, she began plotting.

Angela immediately thought of Foster Atlanta for the location, as Foster's values and Be Free's mission go together like OJ and Champagne. It was there Angela met Mindy Fletcher, who had also been plotting her own lady boss meet up and the two decided to join forces and kick off of what they hope to be one of many future workshops at Foster Atlanta.
